Ingredients

  • 12 oz whole wheat pasta
  • 12 oz italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cup broccoli, small florets
  • 4 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  3. Add the garlic and pepper flakes for 1 minute, then pour in the broth and simmer 2 minutes.
  4. Add the pasta and broccoli and toss with the parmesan and a splash of pasta water.
